Musings of a mom who has learned to draw the fine line between tolerance and discipline with her two boys, especially when it comes to material things
When I first became a parent, our pediatrician said that there was no way you could spoil a newborn. It was my job to shower my son with unconditional love in order to establish a bond of complete trust with him. This would later give him the confidence to test his boundaries and become the loving and independent toddler that he is today. Just like almost every other parent out there, it is our dream to give our children everything that we didn't have while growing up. But in the blink of an eye, that little bundle of joy you cradled in your arms very quickly grows into a pint-size person who knows just the right buttons to push to melt your heart.
