Cause and Effect

UNICEF Philippines launched its first online fundraising auction last May 25, 2011. The endeavor was joined by various featured artists such as Michael Cacnio, Mich Dulce, Janina Dizon, Joey Samson, Ricki Toledo, and many more. BC's MBM, Daphne Oseña-Paez, UNICEF's Special Advocate for Children, spearheaded the event, which is entitled, Auction for Action: A UNICEF Fundraising Online Auction to benefit children’s programs in the Philippines and worldwide. The auction closed on June 4th, and managed to raise more than P1.4 million in funds.
