Cher's former daughter (NOW, SON) is in need of a sperm donor

Burlesque star Cher is helping out her daughter son, Chaz Bono (who is an open transsexual--a person who has undergone a sex change operation), pick out a sperm donor for her him and her his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Elia. Chaz and Elia, who previously wanted an anonymous donor, are set to marry at the end of this year. When Cher found out their plans, the 63-year old superstar suggested to find a donor who the family knows instead. In fact, she's already putting together a list of prospects to choose from.

"[Cher]'s insisting on a donor with intelligence, creativity and good looks," a family friend told The Enquirer. "Chaz and Jen are sticking to strict criteria, but ultimately, all three of them want a healthy baby."

In June 2009, Chaz's publicist confirmed that she he was in the process of undergoing physical and social gender transformation from female to male. Today, the 42-year old LGBT rights advocate, writer, actor and musician is ready to start a new chapter by starting his own family with girlfriend, Jennifer.
