Soccer Moms Alert!

Here's a reason to make your sons play more soccer. Although basketball remains the most famous sport in the Philippines, our country recently stunned the international scene by beating defending champion Vietnam, 2-0, in their Group B match last Sunday in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup in Hanoi, Vietnam. Many believe that due to Filipinos' height (or lack thereof), we might have a better chance at becoming major players in global sports through soccer. Glad to be witnessing the unfolding of a serious athletic career for our countrymen. What's also surprising is the cuteness factor of the guys that play for the Philippines.
